75/Hopple Street restrictions the week of July 1 Hamilton County (Monday, July 1, 2013) – The Interstate 75/Hopple Street
interchange improvement project will require the following traffic
restrictions this week: -
Various lane closures on north and southbound
I-75. Single lane closures will be
permitted from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., followed by double lane closures from 10
p.m. to 6 a.m. As stadium activities
are planned this week, the southbound closures will begin one hour after the
posted start of the event and northbound closures will begin one hour after
the posted end of the event. -
Daily flagging operations on various side streets
from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for equipment movement and material deliveries. Also, flagging operations on Marshall Ave. from
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for equipment movement. -
Possible lane closures (one lane 2-way traffic) on
Bates Ave. with a definite lane closure around noon on Tuesday July 2nd for
box culvert deliveries. Also, possible
lane closures on Central Parkway for temporary signal installation. No interstate lane closures are
scheduled for Wednesday July 3, Thursday July 4 or Friday July 5. Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work
zone and closures. To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone. Ohio’s
